We're currently looking for a remote associate attorney to handle traffic cases and join our mission to modernize legal practice through technology while achieving positive outcomes for clients. This position is ideal for newer attorneys seeking courtroom experience or seasoned criminal defense attorneys ready for a fresh direction. As part of our team, you'll: - Be committed to pursuing the best outcomes for clients and passionate about legal advocacy. - Work remotely, collaborating closely with a dedicated legal assistant to manage calendars, tasks, and client communication. - Help expand our practice by generating new business and building referral networks. Responsibilities: - Handle all levels of auto-related infractions, crimes, and some general criminal cases. - Attend virtual DMV and court hearings as needed. - Conduct consultations with potential clients and contribute to new client sign-ups. - Collaborate with other attorneys to drive positive change in courtroom culture. - Communicate effectively with senior attorneys for efficient case handling. - Perform legal research, draft motions, and pleadings as needed. Requirements: - Active California Bar License in good standing. - At least one year of relevant criminal law experience (Certified PD or DA internships a plus). - Strong communication skills and attention to detail. - Ability to build strong client relationships. - Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus but not required.
