Your Role: The Corporate Accountant is a highly organized and detail-oriented individual, responsible for managing various accounting tasks, including payables, receivables, reconciliations, and financial reporting. This role requires a proactive individual with strong knowledge of accounting software and processes, who is capable of handling multiple responsibilities simultaneously. The Corporate Accountant will work closely with other members of the admin and finance team to support the preparation of financial statements and ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and internal controls. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Accounts Payable & Expense Management: Enter payables and expense reports File A/P documentation accurately and on timeProcess AMEX charges in QuickBooksFollow up with teams on AMEX reports and submissionsProcess Annual 1099s Accounts Receivable: Handle client ACHs on a daily and monthly basisProcess weekly, monthly, and special project invoicing to clientsProcess invoicing for implementation, fee changes and recurring monthly chargesReconcile open jobs and client reports for accuracyEnsure accurate invoicing for third-party app servicesManage Revenue Share and ensure accurate payments from affiliates Payroll: Print liability reports, record payments, and process other payroll entriesProcess HSA contributions, 401k, and garnishmentsRecord and review Guardian, Health Insurance, and other relevant invoice entries for accuracyMaintain and update bonus tracking and commission tracking sheetsUpdate UI rate as necessaryLocal Payroll TaxesFinancial Reconciliation & Reporting: Assist with month-end and year-end financial tasks and reportingProvide other support as needed Essential Skills & Experience: The ideal Accountant candidate will have 3+ years performing full charge bookkeeping and 2+ years using QuickBooks Desktop.
