We are seeking a qualified attorney to support the company with title examination and other title-related matters. This is a remote role for an attorney licensed in one or more of the following states, Delaware, Mississippi Nevada, Minnesota, Indiana, or Connecticut. WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING Examining public records, abstracts of titles, leases, contracts, and other legal documents to determine land ownership and lien position of residential property Drafting legal documents regarding property ownership and opinions on title Interpreting and providing advice on title-related issues Reviewing and assisting with title claims Researching deed, filing, and other title-related legal requirements Communicating with title companies regarding processing and procedural issues Ensuring compliance with UWM policies and procedures Editing legal documents for accuracy Providing support and assistance to members of the Legal team WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU Must-Have Qualifications: Admission to the State Bar in one of the following states, Delaware, Mississippi Nevada, Minnesota, Indiana, or Connecticut.
