Marcum Search is working with a Law Firm in LA looking for a Senior Legal Project Manager - Pricing. Job Description: Assist senior lawyers in managing their cases to enhance efficiency and client service. Collaborate directly with client legal teams to identify and resolve case-related challenges. Create and share legal project management tools, budget templates, and reference materials for the firm's clients. Provide internal stakeholders with timely, accurate, and well-presented budgets and progress reports. Set and manage expectations with clients and engagement team members. Work with attorneys and clients to establish case management strategies and objectives. Offer practical project management advice to improve client service. Identify issues and solutions for cases deviating from initial plans. Conduct post-project assessments and suggest improvements as needed. Maintain high standards of confidentiality and integrity, especially concerning sensitive firm and client information. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree required; JD preferred.
Project management certification is a plus. At least 5 years of professional experience with increasing responsibilities, ideally in a law firm, legal department, or professional services environment. Experience managing teams in a client-focused role. Ability to clearly and concisely draft client-facing communications. Skilled in summarizing complex quantitative concepts for internal and external audiences. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
SQL query experience is advantageous. Proactive with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines. Detail-oriented, exercises sound judgment, and communicates effectively with senior management and staff. Self-motivated with a professional attitude, consistent work history, and excellent references. Litigation experience is highly valued. Experience managing budgets of $10 million or more. Salary range: $148,000-$217,000 depending on location and experience level
