**Job Description:**

Discover Financial Services is looking for a dedicated and passionate Remote Support Officer to join our team. As a part-time entry-level position, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional customer service and support to our clients and staff. If you are reliable and have a knack for problem-solving, we want to hear from you!

**Key Responsibilities:**

- **Customer Support:** Serve as the first point of contact for customers seeking assistance with inquiries or issues relating to financial services. Respond to customer emails, chat inquiries, and calls in a timely and professional manner.

- **Issue Resolution:** Help troubleshoot and resolve technical problems that customers may encounter while using our services. Document cases and escalate issues as necessary.

- **Product Knowledge:** Acquire and maintain a thorough understanding of Discover's products and services to provide accurate information and guidance to customers.

- **Collaboration:** Work closely with team members and other departments to ensure effective communication and efficient resolution of customer concerns.

- **Documentation:** Accurately enter customer interactions and case resolutions into our customer relationship management (CRM) system to maintain comprehensive records.

- **Feedback:** Collect feedback from customers regarding their experience and suggest improvements to processes and products based on insights gained from customer interactions.

- **Training and Development:** Participate in ongoing training sessions to keep abreast of product updates and service protocols. Mentor new hires when required.

- **Leadership Support:** Exhibit leadership qualities within your team, encouraging a collaborative and supportive environment. Foster a culture of excellence in customer service.

- **Emotional Intelligence:** Utilize emotional intelligence to understand customer needs and maintain a calm demeanor during high-stress interactions, ensuring a positive experience.

**Requirements:**

- **Education:** Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred, but not mandatory.
- **Experience:** Minimum of 1 year of customer service, support, or related experience within the financial services industry is preferred.
- **Technical Skills:** Basic understanding of customer support tools, CRM software, and technical troubleshooting abilities. Familiarity with digital financial services is an asset.
