TURN2X is seeking a talented individual who possesses infinite curiosity. You'll work with the operations team and our COO to roll out our plants. This is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the security of supply for (green) energy and to address 14.5% of the global CO2 emissions. Let's bring green molecules to the market!ResponsibilitiesFind ideal locations for our plants This includes developing site profiles based on our criteria, that will help you to develop and improve over time.Collaborate on obtaining relevant permits to operate our plants Obtaining permits takes time and they vary from municipality to municipality, building strong relationships with partners and collaborating with local authorities helps us to identify road-blocks early on and to speed up the process. Ensure 100% of projects adhere to local, state, and federal regulations, acquiring necessary permits within set timelines.Coordinate and manage stakeholders at our location in Spain Building a plant is a complex undertaking with various stakeholders of different backgrounds and responsibilities and ranges from authorities, via consultants, to EPCs. Managing all these stakeholders is key to successfully commission our plant.Conduct (Pre-) Feasibility Studies Complete thorough (pre-) feasibility studies for all new projects, ensuring they meet economic and sustainability benchmarks.Build a network of hardware and feedstock suppliers Developing suppliers, like CO2 providers, into strong partners is essential for our business to grow.Translate between technical requirements and external stakeholders The operations team is responsible for rolling out the plants our technical teams develop. We must be able to work in both the technical and the commercial world. Having a solid understanding of both makes our job easier.Developing a playbook for further roll out of our plants One plant alone has almost no impact on avoiding a climate disaster. Only at scale can we have an impact. Developing a structured approach on how to optimize and automate the project development of plants is key for our success. De-risking projects early on by removing obstacles (like certain permits), paralleling and streamlining activities like entering a new country are all aspects of a playbook.QualificationsPast Experience in the development of infrastructure projects such as wind, solar, biogas or H2 projectsDeep understanding of renewable energy technologies, market trends, and regulatory landscapes.Effectively convey complex technical information to a variety of stakeholders, from engineers to community members.Skillfully navigate discussions with suppliers, landowners, and local authorities to secure the best terms for project development.Completed studies with a business or engineering focus (eg finance, business administration, economics/civil engineering, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, renewable energies) or lawOutgoing personality in order to build partner network and manage stakeholdersWillingness to travelFlexible and focused on solutionsKey SkillsYou are a self starter You can work independently and have the bigger picture in mind.
