Accountable for meeting project scope, milestones and cost objectives Allocate resources for assigned projects Attend all technical review meetings and plan commission meetings (as necessary) Balances business acumen, experience and technical expertise to develop solutions to complex problems that require the regular use of ingenuity and creativity Collaborates across functional areas to maintain tight operational sync; realigns as needed and minimizes surprises Communicate effectively with all stakeholders Contributes to defining the direction for product design, processes, standards or operational plans based on business strategy Coordinate with Field Managers on development schedules and field changes as necessary Develop and maintain project plans and schedules in collaboration with other functional teams Effectively communicates with other engineers and functional managers. Actively and clearly exchanges information. Raises frank questions and suggests solutions. Provides feedback and openly discusses technical details with peers Ensures that solutions are consistent with organization objectives Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the engineering project team Interface with project inspectors, contractors, architects, engineers, officials, and clients Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans Provides expert level contribution and reviews technical deliverables Responsible for cost estimating, project scheduling, resource management (including labor, material, and equipment scheduling), construction document reading, and interpretation Work is performed with minimal direction. Exercises judgement in identifying and completing deliverables Perform other duties as assigned Requirements: Able to travel as needed Have a driver's license Degree in engineering Eagerness to learn Excellent ability to collaborate and problem solve Experience in public or private proposals, compliance, and construction Familiarity with scheduling and drafting software Leadership and critical thinking skills Microsoft Office Experience Minimum of 1 year experience in commercial construction Minimum of 2 years as a Project Engineer or equivalent OSHA 10 or equivalent trained Strong work ethic and strict attention to detail Understanding of all facets of the construction process PI4bfbbb7240e8-26276-32576677
