Job Summary: Manages overall day-to-day rental operations at Mount Snow Sports at The Grand. Acts as manager-on-duty in the absence of the Retail Manager. This position is responsible for merchandising, financial management, staff supervision, and overall store management. Oversees training, coaching, and scheduling of store personnel. Responsible for sales generation and growth, inventory control, controllable expenses, cash management, merchandising, loss prevention, and store appearance.

Job Responsibilities: As the Retail/Rental Manager of the Rental department, this job oversees the operations of a high volume, seasonal rental operation. The retail/rental manager's job responsibilities include:
Overseeing all aspects of all rental operations. Manages through uncertainty and change positively Manages a team of up to 10 frontline staff with 4-5 direct reports Provides an important piece of our guests' experience of a lifetime while in our resort by maintaining a strong culture of guest service Daily Tasks May Include: Lead daily operations, ensuring that department and staff have all necessary supplies and training Monitoring team performance and providing consistent and direct feedback, coaching, and guidance to team members Maintain daily store records for performance, sales metrics, inventory control, and equipment rentals Train and coach employees in POS system operations, product knowledge, guest service, sales techniques, and loss prevention policies and procedures Other duties as assigned Job Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED Equivalent; Business area training or education preferred
1-3 years of retail supervisor experience; ski industry preferred.
Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment, multitask, and manage multiple customers
Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, holidays, and weekends
Must be able to communicate fluently in English
The expected pay range is $25.00 - $27.48. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
