We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Requirements Manager to join our dynamic team in the development of an innovative high-speed rail system. As the Requirements Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that the project meets all vital functional, technical, and regulatory requirements. This role is based out of Las Vegas, NV, but will include approximately 10% travel to visit our partners throughout the projects you will support.
What your Day-To-Day will Look Like:
Requirements Management
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive requirements management plan for the high-speed rail system, including gathering, documenting, tracing, and tracking all project requirements using industry-standard tools (e.g., DOORS) and methodologies. Ensure the requirements are properly traced to various technical artifacts (design, test, RAMS). Develop the acceptance criteria for each requirement involving the appropriate internal teams.
- Create concise system requirement specifications to ensure complete, unambiguous, and verifiable requirements. Conduct regular reviews and validations of requirements to ensure accuracy, consistency, and traceability.
Collaboration and Coordination
- Collaborate with various subject areas (e.g., Electrification, Signaling, Communication, Track, Civil, etc.) and multi-functional teams to elicit, analyze, and prioritize requirements, ensuring alignment with project goals and objectives. Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to resolve requirement-related issues and facilitate effective communication through status meetings, workshops, and presentations.
Traceability and Validation
- Establish and maintain a traceability matrix and a comprehensive Requirement Verification Traceability Matrix (RVTM) for the full development cycle. Develop acceptance criteria for each requirement and conduct regular reviews and validations to ensure accuracy, consistency, and traceability.
Change Management and Reporting

To Thrive in this Role, You Have:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. Master's, MBA, or PhD preferred.
- Proven experience (5-8 years) in requirements management for large-scale infrastructure projects, preferably in the transportation or rail industry.
- Strong understanding of systems engineering principles and methodologies.
- Proficiency in requirements elicitation, analysis, technical writing, and documentation techniques and experience with requirements management tools and software (e.g., DOORS, Polarion).
- Minimum certification INCOSE ASEP.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking ability with the ability to collaborate effectively with multi-functional teams and partners.
- Meticulous with a focus on accuracy and quality.
- Knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulations and experience with safety and security-critical systems. Technical knowledge of operations concepts in the rail industry is a plus.

The base salary range for this position in Las Vegas, NV, is $122,100 - $164,800, and the annual incentive target is 10% of the base salary.The salary may be higher or lower depending on the budget and the candidate's experience, knowledge, skills, and qualifications.
