This role will support the organization in providing project management services to life sciences companies and other institutions to advance life science products (therapeutics, vaccines, diagnostics, and devices), primarily in the areas of public health and infectious diseases as well as other chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear defense threats.
Responsibilities: Provide consulting services for LBG's clients including, but not limited to:Routinely provide tactical support for day-to-day project and/or portfolio management activities such as meeting minutes, action tracking/follow-up, decision tracking, etc.Actively contribute to project and/or portfolio management deliverables (reports, dashboards, etc.) and routine updates (schedule, budget, risk), usually preparing initial drafts.Coordinate across project functional areas and personnel as required to ensure progress of project activities.Support the building and management of a team representing various functions and sites, including the management of multiple projects and teams across multiple locations.Demonstrate and foster excellent teamwork, with the ability to navigate in different areas and work with multidisciplinary teams.Balance project demands to support alignment/realignment of Budget, Quality, Timeline, and Scope, as needed.Support product development meetings, and make sure all Project Leaders, and/or sub-team leaders, have all information and support needed to implement the project.Focus on customer service, with agility and clear communication.Adhere to LBG quality standards regarding client deliverables.Minimum Requirements: PhD scientist (Master's with strong pharmaceutical/scientific background can be considered), with experience in reproductive health, immunology, and/or microbiome research preferred.At least 5 years of experience in project management with a discovery/pre-clinical/early product development orientation.Experience managing projects and understanding of project management principles.Fluency in collaborative project management software (including Smartsheet, MS Office Timeline Pro, or similar tools), Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.Good written and oral communication, presentation, problem solving and negotiation skills.Ability to work independently or in collaboration with others.Flexibility and ability to deal with ambiguity, and sense of personal ownership of deliverables and results.Work well with teams, often comprised of multiple disciplines.Compensation and Benefits: Annual Salary + Incentive Bonus Plan.Healthcare coverage that includes medical, dental, vision, and life insurance policies.Paid Vacation, Holidays, and Sick Leave.Parental leave paid at 100% of base pay for all new parents regardless of gender.Future Moms Program.9 Company Holidays + 1 Floating Holiday401(k) matching.College save-up plan & college loan repayment plan.Cell phone stipend.Gym Reimbursement through firm medical plan.Compensation for this role is between $77,000 and $126,000. Actual compensation within that range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications, and market location.
