Responsibilities: As a Formulation Scientist, you will be essential in developing and evaluating formulations for preclinical and early clinical studies, focusing on both solid and liquid products.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Create and assess formulations for preclinical and early clinical studies.Analyze candidate drug products to understand their physicochemical properties using various techniques like ELISA, HPLC, and UV/Vis spectroscopy.Assist in scaling up drug product processes from bench top to pilot scale.Help formulate small and large scale batches of liquid, frozen, or lyophilized products.Assist in designing formulation studies and protocols.Oversee and coordinate work with research associates on larger drug development projects.Write reports, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and prepare presentations. Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's degree with 2 to 5 years of relevant experience.Experience in formulation development and techniques like Quality by Design (QbD) and Design of Experiment (DOE).Hands-on experience with protein analysis and characterization.Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
