The Renaissance Computing Institute at the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill is seeking a Research Project Coordinator.This position will be responsible for coordinating research and team science projects and providing support for outreach and engagement.The incumbent should be a highly motivated, detail-oriented team player with proven problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities
• Coordinate one or more research and team science projects• Develop training materials, presentations, webinars, and other educational initiatives• Collaborate with cross-consortium groups to develop content for consortium partners and external stakeholders• Provide logistical support in partnership with the Communications team• Plan and coordinate all major activities for assigned projects• Monitor project activities to ensure adherence to budget, schedule, reporting, and scope• Organize and develop agendas, schedules, and presentations• Coordinate participants, speakers, logistics, etc.• Contribute to internal process improvement
Requirements
• Relevant post-Baccalaureate degree required• Project planning and coordination experience• Familiarity with contracts language and negotiation techniques• Ability to plan and coordinate large multi-faceted projects• Ability to implement defined program management strategy• Ability to track tasks and ensure timely progress• Experience with project coordination, event coordination, or customer service• Occasional evening and weekend work required• Occasional travel required• Strong communication and interpersonal skills• Familiarity with various hardware and software packages• Knowledge of teleconference and online communication tools• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google productivity tools• Ability to research and identify new technologies
