Job Title: Resident Care Assistant

Job Summary:

Grand Villa of Delray Beach East is seeking experienced Resident Care Assistants for both 1st and 2nd shifts.
The Resident Care Assistant will be responsible for providing assistance with activities of daily living, medication management, and personal care services to our residents.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with seniors and providing exceptional care.


Responsibilities:

- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting

- Administer medications as prescribed by the physician (Med Tech Certified)

- Monitor residents for changes in condition and report any concerns to the nursing staff

- Assist with meal service and ensure residents are receiving proper nutrition

- Provide companionship and emotional support to residents

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of resident care

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent

- Minimum of 1 year experience as a Resident Care Assistant in a senior living community

- Current CPR and First Aid certification

- Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff

- Compassionate and patient demeanor

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening
