Job Description
We are in search of a dynamic and motivated Project Manager with a background in the residential construction industry. This full-time, direct-hire position encompasses a wide range of potential responsibilities, including but not limited to overseeing all aspects of a construction project, from inception to completion, coordinating with architects, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure that the project progresses smoothly and stays within budget and timeframe. This entails creating detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets, as well as obtaining necessary permits and approvals. Additionally, project managers must regularly inspect the construction site to ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards. Effective communication and problem-solving skills are essential as they address any issues or changes that arise during the construction process, ensuring that the project is delivered successfully and to the satisfaction of the client.
Key Responsibilities for the Project Manager :
Plan, coordinate, and supervise residential construction projects from start to finish. Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation. Oversee on-site construction activities to ensure compliance with plans, specifications, and safety regulations. Manage subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring timely delivery of materials and adherence to project schedules. Conduct regular site inspections and meetings to monitor progress and address any issues. Communicate effectively with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to keep them informed of project status. Ensure all necessary permits and licenses are obtained and maintained throughout the project lifecycle.
