We invite you to join our team!  -: Respiratory Therapist for 7pm-7am Sign on Bonus $5000 What You'll Do: As a Respiratory Therapist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the comfort, safety, and well-being of our residents. You will provide high-quality care to our residents with respiratory conditions.  Key Responsibilities of a Respiratory Therapist:Conduct thorough respiratory assessments, develop individualized care plans, and provide appropriate treatments to residents with respiratory ailmentsManage and monitor ventilator-dependent residents, ensuring proper functioning and addressing any complications promptlyAdminister oxygen therapy as prescribed, monitor oxygen levels, and adjust therapy as necessary to maintain optimal respiratory functionEducate residents and their families on respiratory conditions, treatment plans, and self-care techniques to promote independence and improve outcomesWork closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive care plans and ensure seamless communicationRespond efficiently to respiratory emergencies, providing immediate interventions and coordinating with the interdisciplinary team as needed If you're passionate about playing a crucial role in ensuring the comfort, safety, and well-being of our residents with respiratory conditions, in an environment where your expertise and dedication are valued and appreciated, we invite you to join our team as a Respiratory therapist. #Tier1 -: What We Offer As an affiliate of National Health Care, our Riverside team enjoys:Competitive compensation and benefits package including a 10% defined contribution retirement planComprehensive training and mentorshipOpportunities for professional growth and developmentSupportive and collaborative work environmentThe chance to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents  -:  What You'll Bring: Qualifications of a Respiratory Therapist: Certification as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT)Valid state licensure as a Respiratory TherapistPrevious experience in long-term care or a similar healthcare setting preferredStrong clinical assessment and critical thinking skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal abilitiesAbility to work effectively both independently and as part of a teamCommitment to providing compassionate and patient-centered care -: We Hire for Heart!National Health Care Associates (National) is proud to be a family-run organization since 1984.
