We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Respiratory Therapist to join our dynamic team.
This role will be pivotal in providing advanced respiratory care and leveraging cutting-edge technology to monitor and improve the health outcomes of our long-term care patients.


As a Respiratory Therapist with Circadia Health, you will play a crucial role in our mission to enhance patient care through innovative remote monitoring solutions.
You will be responsible for delivering comprehensive respiratory therapy services, performing detailed patient assessments, and collaborating with our interdisciplinary team to ensure the highest standards of care.


Key Responsibilities: Assessment and Planning: Conduct thorough assessments of patients' respiratory conditions and develop individualized treatment plans.
Regularly review and adjust plans based on patient progress and changing conditions.
Therapeutic Interventions: Administer a wide range of respiratory therapy treatments including aerosol therapies, chest physiotherapy, oxygen therapy, and other advanced modalities as prescribed.
Patient Monitoring: Continuously monitor patients' respiratory status, using diagnostic tools such as spirometry and pulse oximetry.
Identify and address acute changes in patients' conditions promptly.
Interdisciplinary Team Coordination: Work collaboratively with pulmonologists, Skilled Nursing physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a comprehensive approach to patient care.
Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss and plan patient care.
Patient and Family Education: Educate patients and their families about respiratory conditions, treatment plans, and home care techniques.
Provide guidance on the use of respiratory equipment and preventive care strategies.
Documentation: Maintain detailed, accurate, and timely documentation of patient assessments, treatments, progress notes, and any changes in condition.
Ensure all records are compliant with facility policies and regulatory standards.
Equipment Management: Ensure proper operation and maintenance of respiratory therapy equipment.
Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues, and coordinate with the biomedical department for repairs and servicing.
