We want your knowledge and expertise!Job Summary and QualificationsPosition responsibilities: Performs duties according to education and training as assigned by the professional staff Assists as directed in an emergency situationAttends all unit meetings.
If unable to attend, obtains information from minutes of meeting Assists with performing routine maintenance of equipmentAssists with cleaning and sterilizing equipment as required Performs efficiently with CPCS.
Maintains ongoing training and proficiency with CPCS Performs efficiently with eMar.
Maintains ongoing training and proficiency with eMar Provides age and culturally appropriate careAttend Code of Conduct training course annuallyDemonstrate an understanding of and adherence to HCA's Code of ConductUnderstands and satisfies the needs of the patient population appropriate to the age of the patient served (adults, geriatric, adolescent, pediatric, and parents of neonates)Adheres to the Standards of Behavior for Terre Haute Regional Hospital as per the Customer Relations PolicyEssential educational/licensure, skills and experience:An individual who holds a student permit may only perform respiratory care procedures that have been part of a course:The individual has successfully completed in the respiratory care program designated under Article 34.5-2-14 Student Permits, subsection (a) (3) of IC 25.For which the successful completion has been documented and this is available upon request.BCLS upon hire and maintained throughout employmentStudent Respiratory Care permit Terre Haute Regional Hospital has provided quality healthcare services since 1882.
