Description

As a Retail Marketplaces Account Manager, you'll be the primary contact for assigned clients, and lead a small team of specialists to execute customized launch plans and ongoing support for your client book. You'll be managing around 10-12 clients at a time, so excellent organization and time management skills are a must.

This role is one that is challenging and rewarding as you are responsible for setting the overall strategy for brands new to Amazon, as well as those who are established and looking to drive progressive growth. It will be key to stay ahead of the ever-changing landscape, and to support knowledge-share across the team & your peers.

This position reports to a Team Lead.

A week in the life of a Retail Marketplaces Account Manager

No-stress commuting. You work from home so your daily commute is only the amount of time it takes for you to walk into your home office or travel to your favorite coffee shop for a change of scenery.
Operational Performance. You work closely with your Account Specialist(s) to delegate tasks related to the scope of work for each client, as well as navigating high-level strategies and the steps required to move the needle forward.
Communication. Your work calendar has internal & client appointments to present the latest results, activities and planned tactics for the upcoming 90 days. You've gotten to the essence of clients' needs and identified the ways Acadia can be their guide to achieving them.
Collaboration. Acadia is a team of go-getters, innovators and industry experts. Over the week, you communicate with colleagues to exchange experiences, coordinate with team members who work on other aspects of the client business (PPC) and define strategies that are aligned with one another.
Innovation. You check out the competition to see what strategies they're employing to drive growth, along with any gaps that exist where we can expand our services to better support our clients. You use that as inspiration to pull together a plan that will drive new business for Acadia.
Reporting. You report to clients in your portfolio on a weekly/bi-weekly basis delivering the data but also the story behind the data, as well as next steps to improve performance further.
Trends. You quickly identify trends within the accounts you manage and take appropriate action to course-correct or expand on successful strategies.
Thought Leadership. You contribute to the company owned blog as-needed, attend company hosted webinars and other live events where you share your latest views on Amazon's developments and opportunities.

Before you know it, another week has come to a close and you go into the weekend energized, knowing you've once again contributed to the growth and success of Acadia and the brands we support.

Job Expectations

The successful candidate will have a proven track record in the following areas:

Being the main point of contact for assigned projects.
Managing the quality & timely deployment of deliverables associated with strategies for client accounts.
Strong communication skills & the ability to navigate challenges professionally to reach ideal outcomes.
Working in a collaborative team culture.
Ability to coordinate several projects simultaneously.
Identifying opportunities for clients' growth, and new services for existing markets.

Candidates must quickly become comfortable articulating the value of Acadia to clients and prospects by representing our company's services while maintaining a deep client focus. A lifelong learner with a strong drive for results is essential.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree
Amazon Seller Central/Vendor Central and online marketing experience
Communication: Your written and verbal communication skills are strong. You deliver information with clarity, ask questions and actively listen when interacting with others. You are skilled at developing rapport with others. Your client communication is professional, timely and respectful.
Organizational skills: You must be a total pro at managing your own time, and in delegating & monitoring work to others. You understand the difference between being "responsible" versus "accountable" for work getting done.
Management Skills: Our PMs not only manage client accounts on Amazon, they manage team members that support each account. An effective manager brings out the best in their team; coaching, empowering and delegating tasks so that each member feels invested in their work and dedicated to professional growth.
