Key Responsibilities: As a Retail Associate, you will be a key part of our team, helping to drive sales, build customer relationships, and contribute to the store's overall success.
Primary Responsibilities Include: Greeting and engaging with customers to understand their needs.Educating customers about product features and benefits to help them make informed decisions.Solving customer issues and answering any questions they may have.Processing sales through suggestive selling, multiple selling techniques, and effective closing.Measuring and fitting customers with appropriate products.Informing customers about ongoing promotions and deals.Keeping the sales floor organized, neat, and well-stocked at all times.Ensuring items are properly labeled and priced.Monitoring merchandise, attaching/detaching security tags, and reporting any shrinkage or security concerns.Following safety protocols, including proper lifting techniques and timely reporting of any accidents or near misses. Retail Associate Requirements: Must be 18 years or older.Must reside in or around Portland, OR and have reliable transportation.A natural people person with a friendly attitude!Prior retail experience is preferred but not required.Strong customer service and communication skills.Ability to thrive in a team environment.Familiarity with cash register operations.Basic math skills for quick transactions.Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed.
