About the Job
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Planner to join our Merchandising team.
As a planner, you will be responsible for the development of merchandise plans and the creation and management of forecast and open-to-buy strategies.
This role works as an integral part of the Merchandising, Planning, and Replenishment teams by identifying risks and opportunities and making recommendations to ensure that we are maximizing our inventory investment.
The Planner is responsible for achieving sales, margin, and inventory objectives for the Company and working in conjunction with the Merchant team.
What You'll Do | Key Accountabilities
•Develops merchandise open to buy and inventory plans
•Assists Merchandising in the development of strategic and assortment plans
•Develops merchandise financial plans and ensures reconciliation with top-down goals
•Ensures plans reconcile and meet brand/ company objectives
•Manages business to help meet company targets on sales, gross margin performance, sell through, markdowns, inventory levels and turn
•Analyzes performance data and provides business and analytical support to merchant teams
•Drives allocation strategy to allocate product to stores based on trend and historical performance with hyper localization focus
•Manages execution of the day-to-day merchandise allocation and replenishment processes that support desired inventory levels and sales/margin objectives
•Monitors sell-thru performance and suggests appropriate product movement and markdown tactics where appropriate with redline management
•Monitors business / item performance and highlight exceptions to merchandising team
•Performs quantitative end-of-season analysis and provides information and key highlights to merchants
What You'll Bring | Skills & Experience
•Bachelor's degree
•8+ years of experience in a planning role
•Sound analytical, financial, strategic and problem-solving skills
•Extremely detail oriented and willing to analyze down to the lowest level
•Proficiency in Microsoft Office including extremely strong ability in Microsoft Excel
•Microstrategy reporting ability a plus
•Enterprise Planning system knowledge a plus
•Ability build partnerships, manage teams, and work closely with a diverse group of people

Work Environment, Physical & Mental Demands
•Ability to sit and work at a computer keyboard for extended periods of time

•Must utilize visual acuity, speech and hearing, hand and eye coordination and manual dexterity necessary to operate a computer and office equipment
•Hours regularly 40 hours per week, as work dictates, in a hybrid work environment from our Dublin California office.

The starting salary for this position is $100,900 - $134,500 and may increase to $140,000 depending on merit, length of service with the Company, and other factors.
We take into consideration an individual's skills, background, and experience in determining final salary.
Other compensation may include a 15% Annual Incentive Plan (AIP) bonus paid out according to policy.
Base pay information is based on market location and may be subject to prevailing wage laws, if applicable.
