Description

Revenue Cycle Director Position Summary:

The Revenue Cycle Director is responsible for overseeing the entire revenue cycle management (RCM) function at Arrowhead Orthopaedics.
This role requires a strategic leader who can optimize processes to ensure financial health, maximize revenue, and maintain compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
The successful candidate will be adept at analyzing financial data, improving processes, and leading a team towards achieving financial excellence and operational efficiency.


Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and oversee the development and implementation of policies and procedures for all aspects of the revenue cycle management process, including patient registration, billing, collections, and payment posting.


- Analyze and report on financial performance, identifying trends and areas for improvement, and implementing strategies to enhance revenue and reduce costs.


- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, payer contracts, and billing requirements.


- Collaborate with clinical and administrative staff to streamline the revenue cycle process, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.


- Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of the changing healthcare financial landscape, including reimbursement changes, regulatory demands, and industry best practices.


- Manage relationships with payers, vendors, and other external partners to resolve issues and improve revenue cycle performance.


- Lead, mentor, and develop the revenue cycle team, promoting a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.


Requirements

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree preferred.


- Minimum of 7 years of experience in revenue cycle management within a healthcare setting, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.


- Demonstrated knowledge of healthcare billing, coding, and reimbursement processes.


- Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage and motivate a team.


- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.


- Proficient in healthcare IT systems and revenue cycle management software.


- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively at all levels of the organization.


- Commitment to maintaining the highest level of confidentiality and adherence to HIPAA regulations.


Salary Description

$120,000 - $160,000
