About the Role Houzz is looking for a world-class Revenue Data Scientist to join our Industry Solutions data science team. This team is focused on uncovering critical insights and delivering models to leverage those findings thus powering intelligent business decisions. As a Revenue Data Scientist here at Houzz you are on the front line of laying out the foundations and uncovering insights to impact Houzz Revenue directly.
\n What You'll DoCollaborate with leadership, sales, finance, product, engineering, operations and marketing teams to identify and develop revenue related reporting and also define, and launch strategic and operational data science initiatives to improve growth performanceWork with data infrastructure/product engineering teams to define the data collection needsEnhance existing reports and develop new reporting that generates insights for the businessPartner closely with sales and finance teams to aid analysis of revenue related projectsEnsure revenue and business reports are accurate, consistent and free of errorsDevelop data pipelines as necessary to power BI and reporting needsDefine and manage KPIs to guide business decision-making across various aspects of our siteDesign product experiments, interpret results to draw detailed and impactful conclusions, and conduct root cause analysis At a Minimum, We'd Like You to HaveAn M.S degree in a technical discipline such as statistics, mathematics, computer science, operations research or economics2+ years data science experience dealing with complex problems in reporting, subscription products, user retention, revenue and marketplacesStrong proficiency in writing complex SQL queries, manipulating data with pandas, and common python data science libraries and generate dashboards in TableauStrong communication, presentation and interpersonal skillsBe a self starter who has strong attention to detail with an ability to work independently and deliver quality resultsAbility to have fun!
\nCompensation, Benefits and Perks This role has an annual starting salary range of $120,000 - $140,000. In addition to salary, you're eligible for competitive benefits that support you and your family as part of your total rewards package at Houzz. Also, depending on the role, you could be eligible for an equity award. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors, including, but not limited to, skills, experience, and specific work location.
