THE OPPORTUNITY Dillard's is seeking an experienced RFID Developer to help with the design, development, research, troubleshooting, and implementation of RFID systems. This is a full-time, in-office position, with some work hours being spent in our stores.
THE TEAM Our Store Systems team consists of a small group of developers and QAs who work collaboratively and are very supportive of one another. Our team provides the POS (Point of Sale) and DSA (Dillard's Store Applications) software for store associates, store management, and several corporate users. Our software runs on all of the in-store primary virtual servers, all POS, all mobile devices, and also some corporate virtual servers. Our workspace is a lab environment where software development and testing happen daily.
We make changes to the store environment several times a month by adding new functionality as requested by our executive management, leadership, store users, etc. This role will help support this team's goals by addressing RFID requests made by management, improving the overall RFID cycle count and RFID shoe audit experiences for our stores, producing reports that will assist stores with enhancing business operations, and increasing the focus given to RFID projects.
WHAT YOU WILL DO Examine existing applications and assist in making performance improvements. Development of new features and reporting. Help grow the RFID knowledge on the team through continued education. Assist with application development for handheld scanners, printers, and fixed RFID readers. THE MUST-HAVES Experience working with RFID systems including handheld readers, fixed readers, and printers. Proficient in C# language using .Net framework (also Core) Develop and maintain web applications written in Angular, Typescript, CSS Mobile app development for Android using Ionic framework Able to write Rest services Strong SQL skills Excellent communication skills THE NICE-TO-HAVES Team player who likes working in a group environment Ability to capture business requirements and develop a technological solution Experience with Avery Dennison, Zebra, Impinj, Keonn, or other RFID solutions providers WITHIN 1 MONTH, YOU'LL Understand the existing RFID processes in place. WITHIN 3 MONTHS, YOU'LL Learn the other DSA store functions. Contribute to the coding tasks. WITHIN 6 MONTHS, YOU'LL Be self-sufficient in developing solutions.
