You will work closely with a team of healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care while ensuring the safety and comfort of our patients throughout their cath lab experience. Job Details: 13 week assignment 8 hour day shift 7a-3:30p Weekly gross $2,600 Responsibilities: Assist in the preparation, setup, and operation of cardiac catheterization equipment and monitoring devices. Administer medications and IVs as required during cardiac catheterization procedures. Monitor patients' vital signs and cardiac rhythms, making immediate assessments and interventions when necessary. Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families regarding the cardiac catheterization procedure and recovery. Collaborate with interventional cardiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Maintain accurate patient records and document all aspects of care in accordance with hospital policies and regulatory standards. Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a safe, clean, and sterile environment in the cath lab. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and stay up-to-date with the latest developments in cardiac care. Assist in the training and orientation of new staff members as needed. Qualifications: Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in state of license. BLS and ACLS certification. Minimum of 5 years of nursing experience, with 5 years of experience in a cardiac catheterization lab preferred. Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment. Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems.
