TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified CVOR RN in Washington, Washington DC, 20010 About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 4x12-Hour (06:30 - 19:00) and Day 4x12-Hour (11:00 - 23:30) Guaranteed Hours: Experience: Minimum of 2 years with 1 prior travel assignment License: DC license required prior to start date; pending license accepted if applied for Certifications: ACLS and BLS Must-Have: Circulate and Scrub experience, Level I trauma experience Job Description: - Perform cardiovascular operating room nursing duties. - Work a flexible shift schedule, including two weekend shifts within a 13-week contract. - Required to float to general surgery if CVOR cases aren't available. - Expected to handle on-call duties: 6 calls per 6-week schedule, including 1 weekend shift or holiday. - Orientation is 28 hours, with modules to be completed pre-start and potentially during orientation, which may vary by specialty. - Comply with flu vaccination requirements with no exemptions. - Ability to adapt to float within units of equivalent or lower level of acuity. - Must have two supervisory references.
