Connect with your Talent Advisor for additional specifics.ResponsibilitiesDirect services, workflow and resources for one or more of the assigned specialty nursing areas: Cardiovascular/Cath Lab, Surgical Services, Emergency/Triage, Endoscopy, Adult or Pediatric/NeoNatal Critical Care, Labor & Delivery/Women & Family.
* Develop departmental goals and objectives consistent with medical, administrative, legal and ethical requirements of the health care delivery system.
* Direct clinical activities, including patient assessment, care plan development, service level determination, patient visits, and complaint management.
* Prepare and monitor budget(s) and ensure that the assigned nursing area operates within allocated funds.
* Coordinate and direct internally and externally-driven audits.
* Work collaboratively with physicians, administration and directors to develop streamlined operations where equipment, supplies and staff are utilized efficiently and resourcefully.
* Remove obstacles to achieving clinical quality, service excellence and financial effectiveness targets.
* Conduct hiring, training, directing, development and evaluation of staff.RequirementsLicensure / Certification / Registration:* Required Credential(s):* BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date.
American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
* Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or jobtransfer date.Education:* Bachelor's degree in nursing or diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing required.
* Master's degree or combination of Bachelor's degree and experience preferred.Work Experience:* 5 years of experience required.
* 10 years of experience preferred.
* 2 years of leadership or management experience required.
