TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified ER/Trauma RN in Memphis, Tennessee, 38116 About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Emergency Room Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:00) Guaranteed Hours: None specified Experience: Minimum 2 years of ER experience required; Large hospital experience preferred License: Active RN license in the state or compact license; Must be in compliance with NLC guidelines Certifications: BLS; Evidence of renewal, if applicable, must be noted Must-Have: - Level I Trauma experience - Willingness to work 48 hours and potentially weekends - Acceptance of working 2 out of 3 major holidays during end-of-year celebrations Job Description: - Participate as a crucial member of the Emergency Room team in a Level I Trauma Center. - Maintain compliance with state and federal requirements regarding nursing practices. - Assist in all aspects of patient care, including initial assessment, treatment, reassessment, and follow-up care. - Possess the ability to work under pressure and handle emergencies with a calm and professional demeanor. - Float between similar units within a 20-mile radius, if required, but rare for campuses. - Engage in impactful patient interactions and maintain high-quality patient care standards. - Submit necessary documentation and licenses before the commencement of duties. - Commit to the full duration of the assignment and agreed-upon working hours. - Provide consistent and compassionate care while adhering to the facility's policies and procedures.
