TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Hospice RN in Rapid City, South Dakota, 57701 About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse - Hospice Job Specialty: Home Hospice Care Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 8 Hour Days (0800-1630) Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week Experience: Minimum 1.5 years of relevant experience required License: Registered Nurse (RN) - Board of Nursing Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support), Valid Driver's License Must-Have: - Experience in home health and hospice care - Oasis, hospice philosophy, infection control practices - Wound care, wound vacs, PICC line dressing changes, port access - IV infusions, critical thinking skills, catheter insertion - Ability to drive at night Job Description: - Manage a caseload of approximately 20-25 home health and hospice patients. - Provide nursing support, including phlebotomy and patient assessments, in a home setting. - Utilize Epic Remote for charting and documentation. - Participate in a weekend rotation every third weekend and one 12-hour call shift weekly. - Orientation will take place in the field. - Expected to work holidays, details to be discussed during the interview. - Collaborate with Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) who provide in-home patient support. - Manage critical thinking tasks and administer required nurse duties efficiently. - Scrub color: Any color of scrubs or business casual dress 26152232EXPTEMP Job Requirements Required for Onboarding ACLS - AHA BLS - AHA Pharmacology Skills Checklist Specialty Exam 5 Benefits of Travel Nursing If you have a sense of adventure, travel nursing provides the opportunity to explore different cities, states, or even countries.
