Unit Description: Be a part of something new!  The University of Vermont Medical Center opened an alternative care unit in March of 2024. Shep 3 North has 18-20 long-term care patients that are awaiting placement. Patients on this unit will have a variety of different diagnoses. The environment of the unit is consistent with that of a long-term care facility. Candidates must have strong communication and leadership skills. Charge nurse experience strongly preferred as there will be oversight of LPNs and LNAs on unit. Long-term care experience preferred. On-call: Not required Incentives: $10K RN Sign-On Bonus (pro-rated for part-time roles)
