TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Labor/Delivery RN in Spokane, Washington, 99204 About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery Job Specialty: Labor and Delivery Job Duration: 8 weeks Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30) Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: 1 year; First-timers welcome License: Valid WA or Compact RN license required at time of submission Certifications: Not specified Must-Have: Labor and Delivery experience Job Description: - Work within a labor and delivery unit, providing specialized care to expectant mothers. - The role will involve working in a short-term acute care setting with a level II trauma center specialization. - Participation in a teaching hospital environment. - Orientation consists of 40 non-billable hours. - Willingness to float between units and sister facilities as necessary. - On-call duties are not required but may include some weekend work depending on unit needs. - No block schedules are required, and the nurse-to-patient ratio is expected to be 1:2. - Charting experience with Epic is preferred. - Compliance document completion required by Monday prior to start date. - Complete required modules pre-start and annually, averaging 16 hours. - Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment in a similar specialty is required.
