TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Labor/Delivery RN in Waterville, Maine, 04901 About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse - Labor & Delivery Job Specialty: OB-GYN Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 7P-7A, Night Shift Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week Experience: Minimum years of experience not specified License: Valid nursing license required Certifications: Relevant certifications required Must-Have: Immediate availability to start Job Description: - Provide care and support to women during labor and delivery. - Monitor the fetal heartbeat and the length and strength of contractions. - Administer medications and monitor vital signs. - Assist with labor induction, epidurals, and other procedures. - Educate and support patients and their families on the childbirth process. - Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure comprehensive patient care. - Maintain a safe and healthy environment for patients. - Be prepared to handle emergency situations efficiently and effectively. - Participate in continued education opportunities to stay current in the field.
