At Marketplace Family Med, you will play a vital role in providing compassionate patient care, assisting healthcare providers, and ensuring smooth clinic operations. You will work closely with your team to deliver high-quality healthcare services to patients of all ages.
Room patients and obtain vital signs. Assist provider with patient examination, treatment and minor surgical procedures. May perform specimen collection, phlebotomy and specimen analysis. Medication and/or vaccine administration. Care Coordination via medication refills, prior authorizations and referral scheduling. Test result management and tracking as determined by provider. Return patient calls and inquiries via phone or patient portal. Current Licensure LPN or RN, State of Iowa, OR c urrent Certification, Certified Medical Assistant. BLS and Mandatory Reporter certification. Knowledge of clinical skill techniques, procedures, medical diagnoses, and treatments. Prior clinical experience preferred. Why UnityPoint Health?
