Responsibilities
• Performs assessment and analyzes patient problems and conditions using critical decision-making.• Implements and/or modifies plan of care using assessment data and evidence-based practice.• Facilitates interdisciplinary partnership in patient care.• Administers medications, IV therapy, and treatments.• Evaluates progress towards desired patient outcomes.• Documents assessments and interventions according to hospital policy.• Assigns or delegates tasks to designated support personnel.• Collaborates with new employees and peers to support orientation and training.• Supports the profession of nursing through student clinical activities.• Other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.• Current RN license in the State of Kentucky.• BLS certification.
