TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg RN in Columbia, Missouri, 65212 About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Medical Surgical Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM) Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: 2 years required; Trauma Level 1 experience preferred; First-time travelers welcome License: MO or Compact licensure required Certifications: BLS required; CPI Blue Card required for Behavioral Health RNs Must-Have: COVID-19 and Flu Vaccines required (Medical/Religious Exemptions accepted); Cerner experience preferred Job Description: - Work in a 24-bed medical-surgical unit focused on at-risk patients with enhanced safety features. - Required to work every other weekend; possibility to discuss 36 or 48 hours/week during the interview. - Availability to float is mandatory. - Participate in 8 hours of orientation. - Previous experience in the specialty being submitted for required. - Experience with trauma centers is preferred. - Return travelers within 18 months do not need re-orientation. - Locals accepted at different rates within a 75-mile radius. - Must have 2 professional references from a charge nurse or above. - Required to work 50% of holidays and weekends as stipulated in the contract. - RNs must be willing to float to various units, including ICU, PCU, MS, L&D, Pediatrics, and Post-Partum as needed. 26316279EXPTEMP Job Requirements Required for Onboarding ACLS - AHA BLS - AHA Core Competency Pharmacology Skills Checklist Specialty Exam 5 Benefits of Travel Nursing Advocating for patients becomes more nuanced when dealing with diverse populations.
