Certifications: BCLS Must-Have: Management of dysrhythmias and interpretation of dysrhythmias Job Description: - Effective 11/30/24, a new restriction applies to some RN's working at specific facilities, with exceptions for certain specialties such as Periop/OR, Allied, and Ambulatory RN travelers. - First-time travelers are accepted. - Shift requirements include 4x12 or 3x12-hour shifts. - If a traveler calls in for a contracted shift, they are expected to make up the day or extend the contract, based on their FTE status. - Travelers are expected to work every other weekend based on their contract. Consecutive weekends may be required based on operational needs. - Pending operational needs, unit charge nurse responsibilities may be assigned, with support and training provided. - Floating is required; travelers may be expected to float to different levels of care (Med-Surg, PCU, ICU) with resources provided if needed. - The unit primarily deals with post-operative (Urology, GYN, GI, Ortho, etc.) and some pre-operative patients. - The COVID-19 vaccine is required for all travelers.
