TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg RN in Indianapolis, Indiana, 46202 About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Medical Surgical Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 4x12-Hour Day (07:00 - 19:30) Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: Minimum 2 years; Level 1 Trauma Experience Preferred License: If start date is 2-4 weeks out, must have IN or compact license in hand. For start dates further out, the licensing process must have been started. Certifications: BCLS Must-Have: - COVID vaccine is required effective 9/1; medical or religious exemptions accepted with a doctor's note. - Fit-tested for an N95 mask or trained on using a PAPR device for patients needing negative-airflow rooms. Job Description: - Provide care in a medical-surgical unit specializing in post-operative care of colorectal surgery patients. - Must be willing to float to different levels of care (Med-Surg, PCU, ICU), resources provided if needed. - Expected to work every other weekend, with potential consecutive weekends based on operational needs. - Possibility for charge nurse responsibilities with provided training and resources. - First-time travelers are accepted. - Must be willing to adhere to shift requirements and make up for any call-ins as per specified criteria. - Compliance with vaccination requirements and exemption protocols. 26134799EXPTEMP Job Requirements Required for Onboarding ACLS - AHA BLS - AHA Core Competency Pharmacology Skills Checklist Specialty Exam 5 Benefits of Travel Nursing Facing new challenges regularly builds resilience.
