TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg RN in Lancaster, South Carolina, 29720 About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Medical Surgical Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night 4x12-Hour (6:45 PM - 7:15 AM) Guaranteed Hours: Facility is allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks Experience: Minimum 3 years; travel experience required License: South Carolina license or Compact license must be in hand prior to start Certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIH required Must-Have: Med/Surg experience required Job Description: - Provide high-quality nursing care to medical-surgical patients on the 6th Floor MedSurg unit. - Maintain nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:6 to 1:7. - Work every other weekend, with no on-call requirement. - Float within the scope to meet facility needs, including floating between like units or sister facilities. - Utilize Epic for charting and documentation. - Complete a mandatory orientation program consisting of 16 hours. - Adapt to facility needs during hurricane season, with emergency response team assignments possible. - Complete pre-start compliance and non-billable modules (averaging 4 hours). - Wear designated scrub colors: Ceil Blue or Navy. - Meet the flu vaccine requirement unless a medical or religious exemption is provided. - RTO (Request Time Off) guidelines must be adhered to based on facility needs.
