TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg RN in Lynchburg, Virginia, 24501 About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Medical - Surgical Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12-hour Night Shift Guaranteed Hours: Information not provided Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in relevant specialty License: Active VA / Compact License required Certifications: BLS Required Must-Have: Travel experience required Job Description: - Provide quality care in a Med Surg Orthopedics setting with a focus on 60% ortho and 40% general medical. - Work night shifts, with assignments ending on Saturdays. - Orientation sessions are scheduled every other week on Mondays. - Required to work 2 to 3 weekends per month based on unit need. - Candidates must not reside within 60 miles of the job location. - Travel experience and previous work in a teaching hospital are highly preferred. - All requested time off must be submitted with the application packet. - Approved declinations for Covid/Flu vaccinations are accepted. - The client reserves the right to cancel up to 36 hours per assignment due to census changes.
