TravelNurseSource is working with Clear Choice Resources to find a qualified Med/Surg RN in Omaha, Nebraska, 68118 Pay Information $2,022 to $2,152 per week About The Position Support Department consists of Acute Rehab and MRSH roles. Acute Rehab is located on the 2nd floor of the Omaha campus and consists of 4 hallways; R1 - Brain injury (16 beds), R2 - Stroke (16 beds), R3 - Overflow, Cardiac (16 beds), R4 -Pediatrics (14 beds). Each section consists of two pods of 8 beds each, separated by a dining area in the middle. Patients in Acute Rehab receive an average of three hours of therapy each day. MRHS is located on the lower level of the Omaha campus and patient population is LTAC, TBIs, ventilators, feeding tubes, low level cardiac drips, and some organ transplants from Nebraska Medicine. RN - Support role will float to all departments within the Madonna Omaha campus, including Acute Rehab and MRSH. RN Ratio for Acute Rehab - Days - 1:5, Nights - 1:6. Nurse Assistants are part of the care model. Overhead lifts in all rooms. RN will not float to Pediatrics. Vent experience is not required as Respiratory Therapy will manage all vents; however, RN must be able to ensure vent is connected to patient and troubleshoot alarms. RN ratio for MRSH is 1:4 on L1 & L2, 1:5-6 on L3 as it is Acute Rehab level of care. Overheads lifts available in all rooms. These departments also have the option to wear Madonna-branded clothing in any color. Charting: Sunrise (created by Allscripts) Communication: Cisco phones Medication: Omnicell Schedule: 6 week schedules, with two weekends required every 6 weeks, 12 hour shifts (6:45am-7:15pm or 6:45pm-7:15am), 13 week contracts only, no block scheduling and minimum time off should be requested upon submittal. Orientation: Occurs twice per month on Tuesday; one at Omaha and one at Lincoln. Madonna prefers that RN attends orientation at the location where RN will be working, but will accommodate training at the other location if needed.
