Full Time RN - Medical Surgical

The Medical Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for providing direct patient care in a fast-paced, acute care environment.
The RN will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, as well as collaborate with other members of the healthcare team to provide a safe and quality patient experience.


Responsibilities of the Medical Surgical RN include: Administering medications and treatments Monitoring patient vital signs and responding to changes in condition Performing patient assessments and documenting findings Developing and implementing patient care plans Educating patients and their families about their condition and treatment Collaborating with other members of the healthcare team to provide a safe and quality patient experience Qualifications for the Medical Surgical RN include:Graduation from an accredited nursing program Current Alaska Registered Registered Nurse (RN) license American Heart Association (AHA) - (BLS Provider) Card One year of experience in a medical surgical setting Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team
