TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified OR RN in Bronx, New York, 10457 About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Operating Room (OR) Registered Nurse Job Duration: 16 weeks Shift: 5x7.5 Days, 37.5 hours per week Guaranteed Hours: 37.5 hours per week Experience: Minimum 1 year of relevant experience License: Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS (CNOR preferred) Must-Have: General and Orthopedic experience; GYN and Eye experience preferred Job Description: - Work in an 8-suite OR with an average of 25-35 cases per day. - Handle a variety of cases including general, orthopedic, neurological (shunts, aneurysms, cranial surgeries), spine (laminectomies, fusions, scoliosis), gynecology, ENT, eyes, urology, podiatry, vascular (such as femoral-popliteal bypasses), and robotics (DaVinci XI). - Scrubbing experience is preferred; scrubbing is required. - Collaborate with a supportive manager often found rounding in the OR. - OR technicians assist with setting up rooms, collecting and organizing equipment, circulating cases, handling room turnovers, and more. - Utilize Allscripts EMR for charting. - Available shifts are Monday to Friday: 0630-1500, 1100-1930, 1430-2300.
