TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified OR RN in Washington, Washington DC, 20007 About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Operating Room - Transplant Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 2x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:00); Day 2x8-Hour (07:00 - 15:00) Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week Experience: Minimum of 2 years required; must have 1 prior travel assignment License: DC License required Certifications: BLS required, BSN preferred Must-Have: - Ability to circulate/scrub Hepatobiliary, Kidney, and Liver Transplants - Flu vaccine Job Description: - Work solely on transplant cases. - Alternate shifts for a total of 40 hours a week. - Up to 8 call shifts within an 8-week period with a 60-minute response time. - Required to work full scheduled hours every week. - Manage patient diagnoses related to liver and pancreatic cancer, congenital liver, and small bowel abnormalities. - Perform special procedures including Whipple, Pancreatectomy, Hepatectomy, Small Bowel Transplant, and Liver Transplant (pediatric and adult). - Only 3 days of RTO allowed; 7 days of RTO between contracts. - Must have two supervisor references. - Scrubs provided; color: blue. - Compliance with flu vaccine mandate; exemptions not permitted. - Modules are billable up to 4 hours; non-billable beyond this.
