General Information Unit Specifics:
• Number of Beds: 33
• Patient Ratios: 3:1/4:1
• Unit staffing description: Unit Secretaries M-F 7a-7p. Nurse Extern availability at times
• Documentation system: Meditech
• Scheduling requirements: Work every other weekend, 36 hours week, will fill in scheduling needs
• Floating policy: First to float
• Patient Experience requirements: Pain, Communication and Responsiveness
Hospital Specifics:
• Certifications: BLS, ALS, EKG Interpretation
Hiring Profile Requested Skill Set: Must have: experience with Post-Op CABGs, vascular and general cardiac patient population. Must have knowledge of cardiac drips/titrations and electrolyte replacement. Must have experience with management of Chest Tubes, Epicardial Pacing Wires, and TR Bands.
Certifications Required: BLS, ALS, EKG Interpretation Dress Code: (Required uniform)
• Scrubs – Galaxy Blue, Red, Black
