Length: 8 weeks Or Per Diem Ongoing | Block Booking

Pay rate:
$48 | hr (local)
$25 | hr taxed + $25 | hr taxed free | housing stipend
*** Must be 50 miles away from permanent residence to qualify for housing stipend

Responsibilities: Directs, initiates, and implements a patient care plan in a psychiatric long-term care environment.Assists physicians during examinations and procedures.Prepares equipment, applies and changes dressings, and monitors patients.May administer prescribed medications.Requires an associate's degree and is certified as a registered nurse.Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.Performs a variety of tasks.Charge Nurse experienced preferred. Requirements: Resume – with a minimum of 1 year of psych or strong Med|Surg experience.RN - PA license (in good standing).Current – BLS.2 current references (nursing supervisors | charge nurse).2-step PPD (within the last 12 months).Current physical (within the last 12 months).Vaccination - MMR, Varicella, Hep B.PA - Police – criminal background check.Must be able to pass background check | urine drug screen.
