The Registered Nurse (RN) prepares equipment andassists physician during examinations and treatments. The Registered Nurse(RN) administers prescribed medications, changes dressings, cleans wounds, andmonitors patient vital signs. The Registered Nurse (RN) observes and maintainsrecords on patient care, condition, reaction, and progress.The Registered Nurse (RN) participates as primary nurse, associate nurse, ateam member or team leader in the planning and implementing of patient care.The Registered Nurse (RN) directs and assists in carrying out safe aseptictechnique and procedures. The Registered Nurse (RN) offers leadership anddirection to all support staff within department.A6 is a 27-bed fast paced unit. We provide care for cardiac patients who haveundergone a cardiac intervention from the cath lab which includes stentplacement, pacemaker placement, and diagnostic angiograms. We also care forthe patients who have chosen to undergo Watchman and Mitraclip procedures. Wemanage patients with congestive heart failure, NSTEMI, STEMI, pre-CABG, andperipheral vascular occlusions. We do have patients with cardiac drips andalso take medical-surgical overflow patients from the ER. We have a strongworking relationship with our cardiologists and hospitalists. A6 has adedicated team that is known for delivering exceptional high-quality patientcare together with outstanding customer service.**_Requirements:_****EducationSkills** * Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
