Procedures performed in our lab include:- Angiograms (peripheral, iliac, mesenteric and renal) with intervention- Catheter-directed thrombolysis for pulmonary embolism and deep vein thrombosis- Central line placement- Complex chronic total occlusion- Emergency care- Fistulagram- Left and right heart catheterizations with percutaneous intervention- IMPELLA heart pump placement and replacement- Inferior vena cava filter placement and removal- Intra-aortic balloon pump placement and removal- Intracoronary ultrasound- Left atrial appendage closure- Rotational and orbital atherectomy- Valve replacementNurses in our unit grow in their professional practice, gaining critical skills for the complex care of our cardiovascular patients.
