Basic Function and Scope of Responsibilities: The Registered Nurse (RN) functions directly under the supervision of the Site Administrator and the Responsible Physician. The RN is responsible for providing nursing care in accordance with recognized Nursing Practice Standards and QCHC policies/guidelines.Pay Rate: $45.00/hourShift differential $2.00/hrMatching 401kNow offering PayActiv so you have access to the money you have earned before pay day!Respond and intervein to all emergency situationsConduct Patient Intake paperwork & AssessmentsVerify and obtain orders for patient medicationConduct Sick Call clinicAdminister medications in accordance with nursing standards and correctional regulationsComplete and document ordered treatments, assessments, and collect ordered labsAssist provider with Chronic Care ClinicAccurately document all patient information, nursing assessments and interventionsMonitor for and report changes in patient's conditionEnsure daily nursing task are completed within prescribed timeframe.Maintain patient confidentialityWork closely with HSA, Physician, and clinical staff to ensure continuity of care.Assist HSA in supervision of clinical staffFoster support and cooperation among staff members to promote teamwork.Assist with training and orientation of new staffAssist with assessment of clinical skills of each staff memberParticipate in all CQI/performance improvement activities as assigned.Attend ALL mandatory meetingsFollow QCHC policies, procedures & guidelinesPerform other job-related duties as assignedRequirements:Completion of an approved registered nursing program with a current valid RN license in the state of practice.Current CPRMinimum of one year of nursing experience in a healthcare setting, with one year of experience in correctional healthcare preferred.#IND1
