The Registered Nurse (RN) prepares equipment andassists physician during examinations and treatments. The Registered Nurse(RN) administers prescribed medications, changes dressings, cleans wounds, andmonitors patient vital signs. The Registered Nurse (RN) observes and maintainsrecords on patient care, condition, reaction, and progress.The Registered Nurse (RN) participates as primary nurse, associate nurse, ateam member or team leader in the planning and implementing of patient care.The Registered Nurse (RN) directs and assists in carrying out safe aseptictechnique and procedures. The Registered Nurse (RN) offers leadership anddirection to all support staff within department.In our Medical Surgical Telemetry units, we see a variety of medical and post-op surgical patients. We have the capacity to remotely monitor our patient'stelemetry status. For that reason, all of our Registered Nurses receivetelemetry training and are ACLS certified. Our unit is fast-paced and there isalways an opportunity to learn about new disease processes.
