Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist is seeking full-time New Grad RNs for our Burns and Plastics Residency at Wake Forest Baptist Center, located in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. A New Graduate Nurse is either a current nursing student nearing graduation from an RN program or a recent graduate with less than six months of clinical experience as a Registered Nurse.
Burn Unit- 10 North Tower: This 24-bed unit offers comprehensive care for all levels of burn patients, including both pediatrics and adults. It has 16 Med-Surg beds and 8 ICU beds. The unit also treats various surgical patients, including those needing plastic, orthopedic, trauma, and urological surgeries. The nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:4 in the Med-Surg area and 1:2 in the ICU, though it may vary based on patient acuity.
