AdventHeath Parker performs complex spine surgery as well as weight-loss, orthopedic and joint replacement surgery. We are a Level II Trauma Center, offer oncology services and are an accredited chest pain center, and primary stroke center.
Schedule: Shift : Days, Nights Location: 9395 CROWN CREST BLVD, Parker, CO 80138 The role you 'll contribute : The Registered Nurse Surgery is responsible for the delivery of coordinated nursing care for a patient or an assigned group of patients within the operating room and for the day-to-day management and supervision of the related clinical activities. The value you'll bring to the team: Demonstrates effective assessment skills to ensure quality patient care is provided. Performs and documents accurate initial assessment per unit standard. Consistently develops an appropriate plan of care for patient from admission to discharge. Establishes appropriate implementation of nursing actions to ensure competent nursing care is delivered. Effectively evaluates the nursing plan of care to ensure safe, competent delivery of care is provided.
Qualifications The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed: Degree: Associate Degree, Bachelor Degree Specialty: Nursing Or nursing diploma BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) Registered Nurse: State of employment OR RN license from a participating state in the National Licensure Compact One year experience preferred Nursing skills and knowledge base specific to the operating room This facility is an equal opportunity employer and complies with federal, state and local anti-discrimination laws, regulations and ordinances.
